Self-introduction
Hello, my name is Rene Henri! In my daily work, I serve as a producer and technical manager at Postimees Group. Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, I also work part-time as a vocational teacher at the Narva campus of the Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Centre. Here, I mainly teach multimedia and IT subjects. As a vocational teacher, I tend to focus more on practical rather than theoretical approaches in my teaching, as experience has shown that hands-on practice helps students retain the material more effectively.
I have previously worked as a vocational teacher at Tallinn Polytechnic School. Before becoming a vocational teacher, I graduated from the same school with a specialization in multimedia (web specialist). My journey into teaching began shortly after graduation. During my time there, I also had the opportunity to work alongside my teaching duties as a student activities coordinator for a couple of years and as the main organizer of the TPT Film Festival for six years. In addition to my role as a vocational teacher, I was consistently involved in leading the school's film club.
In addition to my work at the vocational school, I have gained experience in the field of videography through working at various media companies (Tallinn Television from 2017 to 2018 and Postimees Group since 2022).
